"The best place to learn how to paddle board if you have no experience. The instructor was super nice, helpful, fun, and made the experience better by staying close and showing us how much wildlife was so close by. The water was calm and the fish were so fun to watch. 10/10 would recommend."

"My almost 8 year old and I had a perfect time on the 9am tour in a tandem kayak. The woman leading the tour teaches kids marine biology during the week. She and my daughter got along great and showed my daughter all kinds of things we wouldn’t have noticed otherwise. The tour went down the cape fear River to stop at sugarloaf dune and went a little further to see pelicans roosting on an abandoned pier. It was a 2.5 hour tour and we loved it. Highly recommended."

"Had a fabulous time on this guided tour. As a beginning kayaker, I can be a little anxious about the small skills I have. Mark and his wife took the time to provide instruction and tips-they were very helpful and kind. I highly recommend PaddleNC!"

Fun afternoon on the water
"I found PaddleNC by googling for kayak tours in the Wilmington area, and I am so thankful I found them. My instructor Mark and his lovely wife gave lots of great tips throughout the trip. They were so knowledgeable! Mark greeted me with a warm smile when I arrived and made me feel confident in my beginner abilities. I highly recommend PaddleNC! Thank you so much for a fun afternoon! "

"My family has taken several tours and rented with Paddle NC and we have always had the best time! The staff is helpful and informational and are sure to point out interesting features to look for. They have also been accommodating on off-season if it is safe to do so. We will be paddling with them again soon!"
